Di atas merupakan rumus
singkat 16 tenses.
Untuk membuat kalimat,
masukkan saja subjek sebelum rumus dan objek setelah rumus. Kita pun dapat menambahkan
keterangan (ket. waktu, tempat dan frekuensi) di akhir maupun di awal kalimat.
Examples:

Simple Present

Nb : Shall dan bentuk lampaunya Should (pada future) hanya dapat digunakan untuk subjek I. Sedangkan Will
dan bentuk lampaunya Would, dapat
digunakan untuk subjek apapun.
